Ross, George

Ross, George, 173079, political leader in the American Revolution, signer of the Declaration of Independence, b. New Castle, Del. He was a lawyer in Lancaster, Pa., and a member of the colonial assembly (1768–74) before serving as delegate (1774–77) to the Continental Congress.
